TESTS
The material was processed on a 6 inch screen. Three samples were taken with 12 to 15 lbs. each. The samples were then air-dried overnight. A 1000 gr. (2.2 lb.) sample was then sieved on a 3/8 inch sieve. The material retained on the 3/8 inch sieve was then weighed and recorded. The material passing the 3/8 inch sieve was then weighed and recorded. The percentage of material retained on the 3/8 inch sieve was calculated.
